As a company driver with JLE, you will earn a linehaul base rate percentage starting on day one and the opportunity to earn even more with additional accessorial and performance pay as you progress in your career.
Before accessorial payments and individual performance bonuses, each JLE flatbed trucker will earn a base linehaul rate of 27%. This rate increases 1% each year that a driver remains with JLE up to a maximum of 30%.
Setting our base rate percentages within this range firmly aligns our drivers, dispatchers, operations and sales teams together to ensure everyone wins.
We know how difficult it can be to start and adjust to a new trucking job. While our drivers are learning new lanes, meeting new customers and working with a new dispatch team, we want them to be confident that they'll be earning a fair living during their first few weeks on the job. This is why new Company drivers who meet minimum performance requirements are guaranteed $1400 each week for their first 30 days. This is not offered for Lease Purchase or 90 day LP program participants.
JLE is also happy to offer up to $3000 in driver referral bonuses for every qualified driver you refer. You'll earn $1500 once the driver is seated and another $1500 after your referral completes their 90th day. Whether you successfully recruit one driver or 10 drivers, there is no limit on how many drivers you can refer to a rewarding flatbed career with JLE!
JLE flatbed drivers can also earn additional accessorial and detention pay to cover any extra effort it takes to haul certain types of freight or on extra time spent waiting during the loading process. We currently offer:
If you are a safe driver who is committed to arriving at your destination on time, you could be eligible for an additional 20% bonus to your weekly pay. For example, if you are earning $1500 in weekly pay, your performance and safety bonus could be up to an additional $300 a week.

Your four-legged friends are certainly welcome at JLE. Non-aggressive breeds under 30 lbs are eligible under our pet policy. A separate security deposit will be required for cleaning.
JLE allows passengers and family members over the age of 18 in your cab through our riders policy. Separate, low-cost, company-sponsored riders insurance must be purchased on their behalf. Additionally, please note that some customers will not allow passengers and/or pets on their property, and our Driver Managers will inform you if arrangements must be made to address this.
