Prospective Truck Driver Qualifications and Expectations

JLE was truly built from the ground up - one truck, one trailer, one driver. Over the years, we have grown our business exponentially, and we are always on the lookout for tough, dedicated drivers to join our team.

If you are ready to take on a new kind of flatbed driving job, continue reading to find out if you have what it takes to be "Proudly Driven" with JLE.

Driver Requirements & Qualifications

Given the involved nature of our freight and of the flatbed truck driving industry, JLE requires the following qualifications for drivers looking to send in an application:

  • At least 23 years of age
  • Valid medical certificate
  • Class A CDL
  • 12 months of verifiable flatbed driving experience, within the past 36 months

For those who do not have their Class A CDL or the required number of years for OTR or flatbed driving experience, we sincerely thank you for your initial interest in driving with JLE. We would be more than happy to receive or reconsider your driver application once each of the initial requirements above have been met.
