What are the minimum requirements to be Proudly Driven?

  • 23 years of age.
  • 2 years of OTR experience.
  • 1 year of OTR Flatbed with steel coil experience.
  • Valid Class A CDL, with a clean driving record.

What benefits can I expect at JLE Industries?

JLE provides Company-sponsored Medical and Dental Insurance, as well as 100% Company-paid Vision and Life Insurance and a 401(k) with company match. We also have EpicVue (mobile in-cab) channel line-up that includes NFL Sunday, HBO/Cinemax and Showtime.

When do my benefits begin?

Benefits become available on the first day of the month following 60 days of continuous employment.

Does JLE Industries allow passengers?

Yes, JLE has a rider policy. The rider must be at least 18 years of age. Please note, some of our customers do not allow Riders on their property, your Driver Manager will inform you when you may need to make arrangements to compensate for this. A separate, low-cost, Company-sponsored, rider insurance policy must be purchased.

Does JLE have a pet policy?

Yes, at JLE we welcome your four-legged companions. Non-aggressive breeds, under 30 lbs are eligible. A separate security deposit is required for cleaning.

Are your trucks governed?

Yes, the speed is set to 65 MPH at the pedal and 68 MPH on the Cruise Control.

What type of equipment do you have?

At JLE we pride ourselves on providing our drivers with the best equipment. We currently offer our Company drivers:

  • 2017 & 2018 Kenworth T680s and T880s.
  • 2018 & 2019 & 2020 Freightliner Cascadias.
  • Fontaine trailers are all less than one year old.
  • Great equipment to keep you safe, moving, and making money!

Dunbar, PA

How long is orientation?

4-5 days, Mon - Thur and you should be in your truck on the road on Friday.

How do I get to orientation?

We will book a bus, rental car or flight for you, covered by JLE.

Is orientation paid?

Yes, orientation pay is $100 per day, plus we cover your travel to Dunbar, lodging and meals while you are at orientation.

How does driver pay work?

JLE pays per mile, based on experience. Our base pay ranges from .50 - .55 per mile.

What other pay is there besides the base?

  • $5000 sign on bonus, paid in full within 12 months.
  • $.05 per mile monthly performance bonus based on mileage, mpg and idle time.
  • Tarp $35, Stop, Layover, Detention & Breakdown pay.
  • 401k with company match after 6 months of employment.
  • Annual tenure pay kicks in after 12 months of active employment.

Do you offer referral pay?

Yes, we offer $1500 per referral, after they reach their 30th day with JLE. No limit on referrals.

Am I eligible for the Lease Purchase program?

  • Drive for JLE for 90 days, learn our systems and set yourself up for success as both a driver and small business owner!

How much do you pay?

  • Starts at 75% of 100% of the linehaul.
  • 100% of the fuel surcharge.
  • 100% of Accessorial Fees (Tarp Pay, Multi-Stop, Detention) If the customer pays it, you get 100%.
  • Right now average take home is around $1,500 after expenses. We've seen it as high as $3,500 in a week. All depends on how much you like to run.

What type of trucks do you have for lease?

Due to the high demand of this program we are constantly rotating the truck models we have available, and always on the lookout for great, newer model trucks for the Professional Driver! Currently we have Kenworth, Freightliner and Peterbilt trucks in our lease purchase fleet, from 2016 to 2019 models. For specific models and lease terms, please reach out to our team today.

How much are the weekly truck payments?

First off we take no money down, no credit check (except 2019 models), no upfront fees of any kind, and no balloon at the end!
Weekly payments vary by truck model and age. Newer trucks will cost more and older trucks will be a lower weekly payment. Currently our payments range from $520 - $795/week.

What other weekly payments/rental costs are there?

  • For an entire breakdown, please give our team a call and we will send you one of our current driver’s settlement sheets. You can view 5 weeks of his pay. We believe in transparency, and no one likes surprises, especially when it comes to fees. So take a look at exactly what you can earn, and what the associated costs are.

Do you provide securement equipment?

  • Absolutely! JLE has complete securement equipment available for purchase (tarps, straps, chains, binders, etc)
  • No upfront costs! Total package is around $2,000.
  • Got your own equipment? You can bring what you got!

What are the upfront costs?

A whole lot of nothing! We do not require money down, no credit check (except 2019 models), no upfront fees of any kind, and there is no balloon payment at the end. Payoff the Lease and you get title in hand! As simple as that!
